Christian Fontana

Christian Fontana has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Christian is currently employed as the Head of International IT Infrastructure at FINCANTIERI S.p.A. Their responsibilities include managing and overseeing the IT infrastructure on a global scale. Before their current role, Christian worked as an IT Project Manager at the same company.

Prior to joining FINCANTIERI, Christian worked as a Senior Project Manager at Experis Tech c/o Fincantieri from 2018 to 2021. In this position, they successfully managed various projects related to technology.

From 2017 to 2018, Christian served as the PRO-Q Project & Service Manager - BU Manager at Venicecom Group. In this role, they were responsible for managing projects and services related to the PRO-Q project.

Before that, Christian worked at Procne srl as a Project Manager from 2009 to 2017. Christian was involved in the development of an information system for managing pension and assistance practices. Christian also worked as a Software and System Engineer at the same company from 2009 to 2011.

At the start of their career, they worked briefly as a Developer and SW Architect at Brainworks SPA in 2000.

Christian Fontana holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the Università degli Studi di Padova, which they obtained from 1992 to 1999. Prior to that, they completed their Perito Informatico degree from ITIS "G.Galilei" GO between 1987 and 1992. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including ITIL® Foundation from PeopleCert (obtained year not provided), PM certificato UNI11648 from CEPAS (obtained in November 2020), and Project Management Professional (PMP)® from the Project Management Institute (obtained in March 2018).
