Giacomo Gargano

Giacomo Gargano, MBA, has extensive work experience in the field of auditing and financial statements. Giacomo is currently the Head of Group Financial Statements at FINCANTIERI S.p.A. since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at PwC for many years, starting as an Audit Senior Associate in October 2003 and gradually progressing to become an Audit Manager. During their time at PwC, they led audits of both listed and unlisted Italian and international companies/groups, reporting directly to managing partners. Their responsibilities included risk assessment, audit strategy formulation, internal control system evaluation, and drafting audit reports and recommendations. Giacomo also managed projects for clients of various sizes and values, ranging from €10M to €80BN in consolidated turnover. Overall, Giacomo Gargano has a strong background in auditing and financial expertise.

Giacomo Gargano, MBA holds an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from SDA Bocconi, which was obtained between 2020 and 2022. Giacomo also holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Luiss Guido Carli University, earned between 1997 and 2002. Additionally, they completed a Master in European Business, focusing on Economics, at EDHEC Business School in 2000.
