Pierantonio Azzalini

Pierantonio Azzalini has a extensive work experience in the IT and technology field. In 1997, they worked as a Managing Director at Winterthur Insurance, where they were responsible for defining the company's strategy and overseeing its operations. Pierantonio also played a key role in merging different entities and implementing innovative technology systems.

From 2003 to 2004, Azzalini served as the General Manager at Gruppo Finmatica, where they had full P&L responsibility for multiple Italian companies and subsidiaries. Pierantonio successfully strengthened relationships with major clients during their tenure.

In 2004, Azzalini joined Allianz as the Chief Information Officer Allianz Italy and CEO of AMOS Italy. Pierantonio held various leadership roles within the company until 2017, including Executive Leader of Global Programs.

In 2017, Azzalini became a Senior Advisor for various clients, before joining FINCANTIERI in 2018. At FINCANTIERI, they served as the Chief Technology Officer and later as the Chief IT Solutions Officer. Azzalini's responsibilities included managing IT infrastructure strategy and operations for the shipbuilding group.

In 2023, Pierantonio Azzalini will assume the role of Executive Vice President Technology at FINCANTIERI.

Pierantonio Azzalini earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Università di Pavia in 1983. Pierantonio then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the same institution, graduating in 1985.
