Jackie Blaesi-Freed

Deputy Associate Director, Policy Division at FinCEN

Jackie Blaesi-Freed currently serves as Deputy Associate Director and previously as Section Chief in the Policy Division at the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, US Treasury, since January 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Director and Trial Attorney in the Consumer Protection Branch at the Department of Justice from October 2015 to January 2024, and Law Clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit from 2014 to August 2015. Jackie also worked as a Research Attorney at the Kansas Supreme Court between 2012 and 2014, and held a legal internship focused on Consumer Protection and Economic Crime at the Johnson County District Attorney's Office. Earlier in career, Jackie was an ABA Janet D. Steiger Fellow at the Kansas Attorney General's Office and served as Housing and CCCS Program Coordinator at HCCI from 2007 to 2009. Jackie holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Washburn University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Anthropology from Washburn University.
