Craig Whittaker

Craig Whittaker has a diverse work experience, starting in 2006 as a Marketing Support Analyst & Customer Liaison at DIRECTFIN SOLUTIONS. Craig then worked at Mxit as an M-Commerce Executive and at PayU as a Senior Product Manager: Africa. In 2013, they joined Wonga as the Head of Product before founding their own company, Piggybank, in 2016. In 2017, they held the positions of Head of Mobile Money at Zoona and Commercial Director at FinChoice. Craig later became a Director at HSA Debt Solutions (Pty) Ltd in 2021 and FinChoice South Africa in 2023.

Craig Whittaker completed their B.Comm Marketing & Business Management degree at Oxford Brookes from 2003 to 2005. In 2007, they obtained a diploma in Direct & Interactive Marketing from the IMM School of Graduate Business. In 2001 and 2002, Craig pursued a Certificate in Sports Management with a focus on marketing, sponsorship, and human sciences. Craig also completed the Naspers Harvard Business Course in 2010, which centered on online and digital business models. Furthermore, they attended Westerford High School from 1996 to 2000.
