Ulf Norinder is a Swedish chemist and computational biologist who is currently working as an advisor for FinCrime Dynamics. Ulf has over thirty years of experience working in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
Norinder began their career as a computational chemist for AstraZeneca in 1985. Ulf worked there for six years before moving to Karo Bio AB, where they worked as a computational chemist for four years. In 1996, they returned to AstraZeneca and worked there for seventeen years, eventually becoming a senior principal scientist and leading the Global Predictive Modeling Group within the Predictive Chemistry Programme.
In 2013, Norinder left AstraZeneca to take a position as a research fellow at H. Lundbeck A/S. Ulf held this position for two years before moving to the School of Science and Technology at Örebro University. Ulf then spent a year at the Department of Pharmaceutical Biosciences at Uppsala University before moving to the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences at Stockholm University.
In 2014, Norinder began working as a senior research specialist at the Swedish Toxicology Sciences Research Center. Ulf held this position for five years before leaving in 2019 to take their current position as an advisor for FinCrime Dynamics.
Ulf Norinder has a Ph.D in Chemistry from Chalmers University of Technology and an MSc in Chemical Engineering from the same school.
