Benjamin Dolan, PhD, currently serves as a volunteer swim coach at Findlay City Schools and has been a professor at The University of Findlay since 2008, teaching ecology, botany, conservation biology, and related courses while conducting research in disturbance ecology. Dolan holds additional titles at The University of Findlay as Director of Natural Areas and Plant Collections, managing operations for natural areas and the university greenhouse, while also working as a certified arborist at Advanced Tree Health, Ltd. Previous experience includes coaching at the Findlay Family YMCA, serving as a visiting professor at the University of the South, and completing a postdoctoral researcher role at Purdue University. Dolan's educational background includes a PhD and MS in Forest Sciences and Biology from Purdue University and a BS in Biology and BA in French Language and Literature from Presbyterian College.
