Guillaume Buc has worked in the technology and innovation field for over 30 years. Guillaume began their career in 1990 as a Project Leader at SEMA Group. In 1995, they joined GE Healthcare as CTO for Interventional Cardiology, Global Manager for Vascular Software, and Manager for multi-modality workstations. In 2013, they became the Chief Technology Officer at Pixium Vision, where they spearheaded the development of the PRIMA project for a second-generation Bionic Vision System. In 2022, they were appointed CTO of FineHeart.
Guillaume Buc attended Lycee Louis le Grand from 1982 to 1985, where they obtained a Preparation school for French "Grandes Ecoles" degree in Mathematics and Physics. Guillaume then attended École Polytechnique from 1985 to 1988, where they obtained an Eng degree (MSc) in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics. Finally, they attended Télécom Paris from 1988 to 1990, where they obtained an Eng degree (MSc) in Image Processing and Computer Science.
