Juan Fernandez

Juan Fernandez has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. Juan started their career as a Project Lead at Escuela Nacional de Administración y Hacienda Pública ENAHP-IUT in 2005, where they led the redevelopment of software using Java and PHP. Juan then worked as an Instructor at Tecnoconcepto from 2007 to 2009.

In 2006, Juan joined Velios Soft C.A. as a Software Developer, where they worked on website development, database development, and project leadership. Juan left Velios Soft C.A. in 2009 to join Totaltexto (SMPP Telecom C.A.) as a Java JEE Software Engineer. Juan performed various tasks in this small business and was responsible for collecting information from users and client functional areas. Their tenure at Totaltexto lasted until 2013.

From 2013 to 2014, Juan worked at Inlimitech as a Java JEE Software Engineer. Juan was involved in updating the client's web site and implementing a centralized connection among multiple applications.

From 2014 to 2020, Juan worked at Minsait as a Senior Java Javaee Developer. Juan was involved in a system designed to distribute work and managed an SMTP application.

Juan's next role was at FINEOS, where they worked as a Senior Java Software Engineer from 2020 to 2021. Juan transformed business needs into high-quality code, fixed bugs, and analyzed features related to the claims module.

In 2021, Juan briefly worked as a Software Engineer at Amazon before returning to FINEOS as a Senior Java Software Engineer. Currently, there is no end date specified for their position at FINEOS.

Juan Fernandez completed their education from 2013 to 2015 at UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, where they obtained a degree in Project Management. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2005, they attended Universidad Central de Venezuela and graduated with a degree in Computer Science, with a mention in Software Engineering.
