Paul Fitzgerald

Paul Fitzgerald has a strong background in software engineering, with extensive experience in various roles. Paul is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at FINEOS since June 2022. Prior to that, they held the same position at Trellix from April 2017 to June 2022.

Before joining Trellix, Paul worked at FINEOS as a Senior Software Engineer from April 2012 to April 2017. FINEOS is a global market leader in core insurance technology, supporting Group Disability, Life, Accident, and Health lines of business.

Prior to their time at FINEOS, Paul worked as a Team Lead Developer at BSB from June 2011 to March 2012.

Paul's earlier experience includes working at Ericsson, where they held the position of Senior Software Engineer from October 2008 to June 2011, and Software Engineer from September 2004 to October 2008.

Paul began their career as an intern at Synopsys in April 2003.

Paul Fitzgerald attended Carrigaline Community School from 1994 to 2000 for their secondary education, but did not earn a degree or specialize in any specific field during this time. Subsequently, from 2000 to 2004, they attended University College Cork and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science. In December 2019, they also obtained a certification in Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging from LinkedIn.
