Pranesh Rao

Pranesh Rao has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Pranesh began their career as a Programmer Analyst at Royal Products, Div. of Curran Manufacturing Corp. where they implemented Visual INFOR ERP/MRP system and developed web-based solutions. Pranesh then joined Aon as a Senior Application Development Technical Lead, managing a team and designing and implementing a legacy application integrated with the GATE system. After that, Pranesh worked at AccountantsWorld as a Senior Manager of Application Development, leading the development of cloud-based Payroll and Accounting applications. Pranesh then joined Biz2Credit as a Project Manager before joining FINEOS in the same role, where they currently serve as Project Manager for a global insurance technology provider.

Pranesh Rao's education history includes a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting and Business/Management from the University of Madras, which they obtained from 1983 to 1986. From 1986 to 1988, they pursued a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Advanced Computer Software studies at Computer Systems Corporations, focusing on Computer Science.

In 1990, Pranesh obtained a certification in Unix and C from Brilliant Computers. The following year, in 1991, they received a certification in Oracle from Bitech. In 1993, they completed a Certificate Course in IBM Mainframe from DSRC. Pranesh then earned a Diploma in RDBMS from Software Solution Integrated Pvt. Ltd in 1994, specializing in Computer Science. Finally, in 2000, they underwent a Certificate course in Java from Bitech.

Apart from their formal education, Pranesh also holds several additional certifications. Pranesh obtained an AWS Cloud Practitioner certification from Cloud Guru LLC in April 2020. In 2018, they acquired a certification in Cloud-Native Development with SAP Cloud Platform from SAP.
