Krishnan Vaidyanathan

Krishnan Vaidyanathan has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Krishnan is currently the Founder & CEO of Finequs, India's first and only multi-product, multi-brand financial services marketplace. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Consultant from 2018 to 2019. Before that, they founded and served as the CEO of etrain education private limited (etrainIndia), a business venture focused on education and teaching, from 2014 to 2018. Krishnan also had a successful tenure at Deutsche Bank, where they held various roles including Director, Head Credit Risk Management - Private & Business Clients, India, from 2008 to 2014. At Deutsche Bank, they were responsible for managing risk reward across retail lending portfolio(s) and played a key role in the launch of retail asset products and the implementation of risk systems and analytical solutions in India and China. Krishnan also served as the Vice President, Head Secured Risk & CRM Solutions, and Vice President, Head CRM Solutions, at Deutsche Bank. Before joining Deutsche Bank, Krishnan worked at ABN AMRO Bank as the Asst Vice President, Head Collections & Fraud Control, from 2002 to 2005, and at HDFC Bank as the Senior Manager, Head Underwriting - Credit Cards, in 2001. Earlier in their career, they worked at Kumaran Systems as an Asst Project Manager and at ANZ Grindlays Bank as a Manager Datamining. Through their various roles, Krishnan has gained extensive experience in credit risk management, underwriting, collections, fraud control, and data analytics in the banking and financial services industry.
