José Luis López Amador has worked in a variety of positions since 2005. José Luis began their career as a Consultant at ITESM's Regional and National Studies Center, where they created a Strategic and Action Plan in collaboration with Hoover and Whirlpool CEOs to foster the development of the household appliance cluster in Nuevo Leon, Mexico. In 2008, they worked as an Economic Affairs Officer, Market Access Division at the World Trade Organization, where they supported Ministers of State and Country Delegates on negotiations to reduce tariffs for non-agricultural products in Doha Round. José Luis also worked as a Project Leader, Enterprise Policies and Capacity Building at UNCTAD, coordinating 22 Entrepreneurial Development Centers in 15 different countries in Latin America, obtaining $2,000,000 funding from the Government of Spain to establish new centers in Peru, Ecuador and Nicaragua. In 2010, they worked as a Commerce Consultant/Student at INA - Direção-Geral da Qualificação dos Trabalhadores em Funções Públicas. José Luis also worked as a Summer Intern at SINTOKOGIO, LTD. and Cape Town Activa in 2011 and 2012, respectively. In 2012, they began working as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte, and in 2016 they became the CEO and Co-Founder of Finerio Connect, a free, personal financial management App for Mexico.

José Luis López Amador received their Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey between 2000 and 2004. José Luis obtained a Master of Science in Economics from the same institution between 2005 and 2007. In 2006, they completed an Executive Course in Economics at Harvard Kennedy School. José Luis then went on to earn an MBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business between 2010 and 2012. In 2014, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute.
