Dhruv Purushottam

Dhruv Purushottam has a diverse work experience in various technology roles. Dhruv is currently serving as the Director of Technology at Finexus Group, where they focus on R&D, cloud native technology, AI/ML, and developer productivity. Prior to this, Dhruv worked at Abnormal Security as an Engineering Manager, Data Platform, leading a team focused on building systems using real-time data stores. Dhruv also worked as a Tech Lead-Manager, Data Platform, and Software Engineer, Platform & Infra at Abnormal Security, where they contributed to foundational infrastructure systems. Before that, Dhruv held roles at Palantir Technologies as a Backend Engineer and Tech Lead, Forward Deployed Engineering, and at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers as a Campus Catalyst and Engineering Fellow. Dhruv also has internship experiences at Lending Club and Spotify in software engineering roles. Dhruv began their career as a Teaching Assistant at Columbia University and as an Intern in digital media and communications at Teach For India.

Dhruv Purushottam completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Columbia University from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended The Cathedral & John Connon School, where they pursued the ISC degree with a focus on Science.
