Emily Willis has a wealth of experience in the digital, online publishing, advertising, and broadcast media industries. Emily began their career in 2008 as Digital Director and Board Member at BWM, part of the Photon Group. In this role, Emily was responsible for executive management of a digital division of 28 and strategic consultation in digital marketing for blue chip clients.
In 2010, Emily became General Manager at Urban GreenSpace, where they designed, built, and maintained beautiful living landscapes. Emily also joined the Account Planning Group and AIMIA NSW State Chapter as a committee member.
In 2012, Emily joined Shine Australia as Digital Director, where they managed digital rights, editorial planning, and social media strategies for Shine's portfolio of brands. Emily then moved to FremantleMedia Australia in 2015 as Head of Digital and Social Content.
In 2017, Emily became Head of Content and Licensing at World Nomads, a global travel lifestyle and insurance brand. In 2021, they joined 3rdspace - The Content Company as Content | Strategy | Purpose | Experience | Community. Finally, in 2022, Emily was appointed Head of Content at Fingerprint for Success (F4S), a mission to empower individuals and teams to solve the world's biggest problems.
Emily Willis has an extensive education history. In 2021, they earned their Certified Digital Marketing Specialist – Strategy and Planning from the Digital Marketing Institute. From 2000 to 2006, they obtained their Masters in Interactive Multimedia from the University of Technology Sydney. From 1994 to 1996, they earned their Bachelor of Fine Arts, Photomedia from UNSW, with a focus on Photography, Sculpture and 4D Studies. In 2011, they obtained their Permaculture Design Certificate from Milkwood Permaculture.
