Ashley Guinan

Ashley Guinan has a diverse work experience with expertise in software engineering and leadership roles. Ashley has recently worked as the Director of Software Engineering - Data Engineering and Machine Learning at Finicity, a Mastercard Company. In this role, they led a team of 30+ engineers, created new internal tools and products, and developed best practices and new hire orientation guides. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Architect at the same company.

Before Finicity, Ashley worked at Sarcos Robotics as a Software Team Lead, where they managed the software team, reported project status, and created deadlines. Ashley also worked as a Software Engineer 2 within the same company. Their earlier experience includes being a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Utah, where they conducted experiments and presented findings at international conferences. Ashley also worked as a Teaching Assistant for computer programming classes and as an Adjunct Instructor at Neumont College of Computer Science. Additionally, they worked as a Health Aide at UNL Health Center and as an Engineering Intern at MidAmerican Energy.

Ashley Guinan completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2006 to 2010. Following that, they pursued a Ph.D. in Computing, with a specialization in Biocentric Robotics, from the University of Utah between 2010 and 2016.
