Finistere Ventures
Donal works as part of the Finistere Ventures E.U. office based in Dublin, Ireland. He brings range of experience from multinational biopharma companies through to early-stage renewables and animal genomics startups. He started his career working with Pfizer and CH2M Hill on the design, commissioning and qualification of multi-billion dollar complex biologics facilities in Ireland and Spain. Following this, Donal was co-founding CEO of Equinome, a university spin-out focused on the development of predictive animal genomic tests that he led through international growth to a successful exit. He has also worked with a range of Irish and European early-stage agtech companies on business model development and early-stage financing.
Donal has a degree in Chemical Engineering from University College Dublin, Ireland and an MBA from the Smurfit Business School in Dublin.
