Sarah Herbert

Sarah Herbert is an experienced actuarial consultant currently employed at Finity since May 2021, where roles have included Actuarial Consultant and Actuarial Analyst. Prior to Finity, Sarah worked at Quantium from January 2019 to April 2021 as an Analytics Consultant, focusing on clinical analytics, predictive modeling, and data analytics strategy within the Private Health Practice. Sarah's career began at Discovery Limited, serving as an Actuarial Analyst in the Risk Intelligence Unit from January 2017 to December 2018, concentrating on hospital contracting and advanced analytics to enhance patient outcomes and healthcare efficiencies for the Discovery Health Medical Scheme. Sarah holds the designation of Associate Actuary from the Actuaries Institute and has earned a BSc Honours in Actuarial Science from the University of the Witwatersrand, along with a Bachelor of Commerce in Actuarial Science from Stellenbosch University.
