James Fisher has a diverse work experience in customer success and operations roles. James is currently the Director of Customer Delivery at Finix since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Finix as a Payment Operations specialist from November 2021 to May 2023. James also served as a Senior Manager of Customer Success at Finix from December 2020 to December 2021.
Before joining Finix, James was a Board Member and Co-Lead for Office Hours & Events at Gain Grow Retain, a community for Customer Success leaders in B2B SaaS organizations, from February 2021 to April 2022.
From 2018 to 2020, James worked at Sisense in various roles. James was a Senior Manager of Customer Success from October to December 2020. Prior to that, they managed a team as a Manager of SMB Customer Success, and later became a Team Lead of SMB Customer Success for Periscope Data, which was acquired by Sisense. James also worked as a Customer Success Manager for Periscope Data from February to April 2018.
James began their career as a Customer Success Manager at Apptimize, Inc. from March 2017 to February 2018. James was responsible for helping organizations enhance their native iOS and Android apps. Prior to that, they worked as a Customer Success Manager at SLI Systems, where they served in both the USA and EMEA regions from September 2013 to March 2017. At SLI Systems, they helped e-commerce retailers increase sales through search technology and other solutions.
James Fisher attended The Burgate School and Sixth Form from 2006 to 2008 where they completed their A - Levels. Following this, they attended the University of Plymouth from 2010 to 2013, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History and International Relations.
