Jerry Lin

Jerry Lin has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jerry is currently working at Finix as a Senior Data Analyst and Technical Product Manager. Prior to their current position, they worked as a Data Analyst at Finix and as a Support Engineer.

Before joining Finix, Jerry worked as an AP Chemistry Teacher at C2 Education in 2021. Jerry also served as an Associate Professor and Adjunct Instructor at Fullerton College, where they taught chemistry. Additionally, they worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Mt. San Antonio College, Glendale Community College, and Riverside Community College District.

Jerry also has experience in research and tutoring. Jerry worked as a Contributor at SoundLogik, a Tutor at Hammer Prep, and a Graduate Research Assistant at Kubiak Research Group. Lastly, they served as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Chemistry at UC San Diego.

Jerry Lin completed a Data Science Immersive program at General Assembly in 2020. Before that, they attended UC San Diego and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemistry in 2010. Jerry also studied at Cornell University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Chemistry in 2008. Although they did not complete their PhD, they pursued doctoral studies in Chemistry at UC San Diego until 2013. Additionally, Jerry Lin has obtained various certifications, including a Certified Data Scientist Level 1 Credential from General Assembly in February 2020 and a Triplebyte Certified Machine Learning Engineer certification in September 2020. Jerry has also completed several online courses in deep learning, machine learning, and data visualization from institutions like deeplearning.ai, NYU Tandon School of Engineering, and Google.
