Steve Goldstein

Steve Goldstein has a diverse work experience in the field of software QA engineering. Steve started their career in 1997 as a Software Engineer at InstantObjects, Inc. Steve was involved in design, coding, and whitebox testing of an Internet Classifieds System.

In 1999, Steve joined Inktomi/E-centives as a Senior Software Engineer. Steve defined testing strategies and implemented testing for n-tier high-performance scalable clustered application servers. Steve also performed various types of testing, including functional, performance, stress, and integration testing. Additionally, Steve developed and automated functional test suites and wrote test tools for load testing.

Steve then moved to Microsoft in 2002, where they worked as a Software Design Engineer in Test 2. Steve was involved in testing WLX backend components for mail delivery, spam filtering, and mail storage. Steve contributed to multiple successful releases and mentored junior engineers.

In 2010, Steve joined ASSIA, Inc. as a Senior Software QA Manager. Steve built a successful QA team and testing infrastructure to support ongoing releases. Steve was responsible for maintaining QA procedures and objectives and ensuring the quality of Assia products, including UI, API, and back-end infrastructure.

From 2016 to 2019, Steve worked at Prudential Financial Inc as a Lead Software QA Engineer. Steve built a winning QA team and developed and maintained QA procedures and objectives. Steve designed and developed manual and automated test cases for a complex financial system.

Currently, Steve is serving as a Lead QA Engineer at Finix, starting from 2019.

Steve Goldstein attended UC Irvine from 1995 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science. Steve then went on to study Mathematics at Odessa I.I.Mechnikov National University, although the specific years of attendance and attainment of a degree are not provided.
