Juan José B. has worked for four companies over the past six years. In 2022, they began working as a Backend Developer for Finkargo. In 2021, they were a Software Developer Mid and Junior Software Developer for Jikkosoft, where they developed microservices in Golang, PostgreSQL, Docker, and AWS to automate Colombia's tax system, as well as building REST APIs and leveraging Go routines and channels for fast, high-performance calculations and creating SQS workers to execute decoupled tasks. In 2020, they were an Ingeniero de Desarrollo for Expertos Seguridad, where they developed web applications in React JS, consumed REST APIs, and developed solutions for Point of Sale software, such as generating and printing receipts, reading, and creating barcodes. Finally, from 2016-2020, they were a Monitor Académico Pregrado Laboratorio Física Mecánica at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, where they provided advice to students during laboratory practices, gave lectures on the topic, and handled various elements such as weights, pulleys, bullets, and sensors.
