Jennifer Safier

Ms. Safier graduated SUNY at Stony Brook in 1992 and received her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School in 1995. She specializes in residential and commercial real estate closings throughout Westchester and Orange Counties. Jennifer is dedicated to providing the firm’s clients with outstanding legal services according to each client’s needs and goals.

As the supervising attorney for the General Legal Department, together with her staff of experienced paralegal assistants, she handles estate probate and administration; preparation of estate and Medicaid planning documents such as trusts, wills, powers of attorney and health care proxies. Jennifer counsels clients on the formation and documentation of business arrangements such as joint ventures, partnerships, corporations and limited liability companies. The other attorneys in her department rely on her for her legal acumen and ability to narrow issues and resolve problems.

Jennifer also has extensive experience in matrimonial matters from inception through trial and is a divorce mediator. Ms. Safier is dedicated to helping her clients through this highly emotional time of their lives and prides herself of reaching amicable resolutions in contested matrimonial matters.

Ms. Safier is regarded as a strong advocate and perceived as fair, honest and hardworking by her colleagues, adversaries and Judges alike. She regularly lectures in the areas of matrimonial and family law before various unions throughout the New York State area. She has appeared in the Supreme Courts and Family Courts for the counties of Dutchess, Orange, Westchester and the 5 boroughs of New York City.
