John Rocela

John Rocela has extensive work experience in the technology industry. John currently serves as the Head of Engineering at FinLync, a position they started in April 2021. Prior to that, they held the same role at Kaddra from January to March 2021. From April 2019 to January 2021, John worked as a Technology Lead at PALO IT. Before that, they were the Manager of Product Development at The Walt Disney Company from March 2017 to March 2019. John also served as a Technical Lead at HOOQ from August 2015 to March 2017. Prior to these roles, John worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Incube8 Pte Ltd from January 2014 to July 2015, and as a Senior Product Engineer at PropertyGuru Group from February 2011 to January 2014. John started their career as a Consultant at Guru Consulting Services from June 2006 to February 2011.

John Rocela received their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from STI College from 2006 to 2010. John pursued further education by completing an Executive MBA at the Quantic School of Business and Technology from 2020 to 2021. Additionally, they obtained certifications as a Professional Scrum Developer from Scrum.org in 2020, and as a Professional Scrum Master in 2019. John also attended a program on Leadership and Management at Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2020.
