Roman Jucker

Roman Jucker has extensive experience in financial supervision, currently serving as Manager Legal and Policy at the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA since August 2007, leading a team focused on recovery and resolution planning for major financial institutions. Previous roles at FINMA include Manager Supervision of Financial Market Infrastructures and Senior Specialist, with responsibilities encompassing prudential supervision, risk assessment, and methodology development for entities such as SIX Group, LCH Limited, and Cboe Clearing. Earlier career experience includes a position in the Hedge Funds Middle Office at HSBC Private Bank and an internship at the Swiss Embassy in Bangkok. Roman Jucker holds an MA in International Relations from the Geneva Graduate Institute and additional qualifications in Cybersecurity and Information Risk Management from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland.
