Raj Vimal Chopra

Raj Vimal Chopra is an experienced software engineer with a background in software development, co-founding, and leading organizations. Raj Vimal began their career in 2012 as the initiator of the SRM Student Linux User Group. In 2014, they were the Student Co-Convener of Infoyez, SRM University Technical Fest and the President of SRM Codechef Campus Chapter. From 2015 to 2018, they held Software Development Engineer II and Software Development Engineer roles at Exotel Techcom Private Limited. In 2018, they were the Backend Lead for the stock screener/analysis product called https://tickertape.in (smallcase.com) at smallcase. In 2019, they were the Founder of Bynza, a SAAS platform to connect hyper-local businesses with macro/micro-influencers, and the Software Engineer at Bambu B2B Robo Advisor, building the Robo-advisor from scratch for one of the leading banks in the Middle East. Currently, they are the Senior Software Engineer at Rapyd, the world's largest local payments network, and the Co-Founder of Finmo, a B2B2C payment platform focused on interconnecting financial networks around the world.

Raj Vimal Chopra obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science from SRM University between 2011 and 2015. Raj Vimal also obtained an Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2020.
