Jere Kettunen

Jere Kettunen began their work experience in 2020 at Finnadvance, where they started as a Summer Research Intern in June 2020. Jere then progressed to the role of Biofabrication Engineer in August 2020 and was later promoted to Lead Biofabrication Engineer in December 2021. Their current role at Finnadvance is ongoing. Prior to their work at Finnadvance, Jere was a student at the University of Oulu, starting in September 2017. Additionally, Jere worked at Barona from December 2018 to April 2019 as a Tarjoilija, where they were responsible for serving and preparing specialty coffees in the hotel restaurant and café/bar.

Jere Kettunen obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Oulu between 2017 and 2020. In March 2020, they also obtained a certification in "Using animals in research - Carrying out procedures" from the Oulu Laboratory Animal Centre.
