Pauliina Junttila has a range of work experience in various roles and industries. Most recently, they worked at Finnadvance as a Laboratory Manager, starting in May 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Research and Development Engineer at the same company from January 2021 to May 2021. From September 2019 to January 2021, they worked as a Youth Advocate at Hivpoint/Hiv-säätiö. Pauliina also has experience as a Masters Student at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München, where they focused on species-specific blocks against HIV-1 infection for their master's thesis project from July 2020 to December 2020. Pauliina worked as an Intern at the University of Glasgow from May 2019 to September 2019, focusing on a murine cell model project for HIV research. Pauliina Junttila has a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Tampere University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Oulu. Pauliina also participated in an exchange program at the University of Kent in 2018. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained a certification in English proficiency from EF Education First, scoring Advanced / Proficient (CEFR C1/C2).
