Shafeeq Weera

Shafeeq Weera is an experienced technology professional with a diverse background spanning over two decades in technology training, software development, and operations consulting. Currently serving as a Technology Trainer and Technology Onboarding Advisor at Finning since March 2022, Shafeeq previously held positions at NAIT as a Tutor, where support was provided to students in computer lessons. Experience also includes serving as a Consultant Operations Trainer at The Dow Chemical Company, focusing on staff training and curriculum development, as well as various roles in software development across companies such as Zedi, GE Intelligent Platforms, and Upside Software Inc. Shafeeq's technical expertise encompasses ASP.NET, C#, SQL, and web development technologies, complemented by a solid educational foundation with a Diploma in Computer Systems Technology from NAIT and both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Sciences and Business Administration from Orient University.
