Kristiina Vuorio is a researcher at the Finnish Environment Institute since April 2020, currently holding the title of Senior Research Scientist. Prior experience includes a position as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the University of Jyväskylä from November 2013 to December 2015, where involvement was in the RNA-Unit project under the supervision of Professor Marja Tiirola. Kristiina Vuorio earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Ecology from the University of Turku, completing studies from 1986 to 2007.
