Ali Nadir Arslan is a Senior Scientist at the Finnish Meteorological Institute since September 2009, specializing in project management for international and national research projects. In addition, Ali serves as a Visiting Professor at Politecnico di Milano since November 2018. Previous experience includes roles as Principal Scientist at Nokia and Nokia Research Center Finland, and Research Scientist at Helsinki University of Technology, focusing on remote sensing, radio wave propagation, and electromagnetics theory. Early career experience includes a Research Assistant position at Cukurova University, where responsibilities included teaching and supervising undergraduate students. Ali Nadir Arslan holds a specialization in Industrial Management from Metropolia, a degree from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics & Telecommunication from Istanbul Technical University. In December 2023, Ali received a Docent designation from the University of Vaasa.
