Minna Huuskonen

Minna Huuskonen is an experienced project lead and scientific officer with a robust background in meteorology and atmospheric sciences. Currently, Minna serves as Project Lead at the Finnish Meteorological Institute since January 2023, overseeing the RODEO project, including financial management and risk assessment. Previously, Minna worked at the World Meteorological Organization from January 2020 to December 2022, coordinating the implementation of the WMO Global Basic Observing Network and the WMO-IATA Collaborative AMDAR Programme. Minna's earlier experience at the Finnish Meteorological Institute includes roles as Head of Group for Operational Surface Observation Networks and Observation Networks, where responsibilities encompassed managing weather and marine observation stations and developing operational networks in Finland. Educationally, Minna holds a Master of Science in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from the University of Helsinki.
