Marjo Tuomi

Marjo Tuomi has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Marjo began their career as a Production Coordinator at Jyväskylä Art Museum in September 2007, where they worked until May 2008. In December 2009, Marjo became the Executive Director of Seikkailupuisto Peukkula, a theme park, where they were responsible for managing all aspects of the company's operations and development until January 2011. In January 2011, they joined the Finnish National Opera and Ballet as a Producer/Production Assistant, Education, and later became a Producer in February 2012. Currently, Marjo serves as the Head of Production, overseeing the production of premieres and domestic and international visits of the Finnish National Ballet. Their responsibilities include ensuring projects are completed within schedule and budget, enabling the realization of the artistic vision of productions.

Marjo Tuomi began their education in 2005 at Humak University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Cultural Management. Marjo completed their undergraduate studies in 2009. In 2008, Marjo had the opportunity to become an exchange student at South-West University "Neofit Rilski" in Blagoevgrad, where they focused on Cultural Management.

In 2014, Marjo furthered their education by obtaining a Master's Degree in Cultural Management from Humak University of Applied Sciences. This educational achievement contributed to their professional growth and expertise in the field.

In 2017-2018, Marjo Tuomi attended Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development to become certified as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. This certification in process improvement and problem-solving techniques demonstrated their commitment to enhancing their skills and knowledge.
