Thang Za Lian

Thang Za Lian holds extensive experience in program management within the humanitarian sector, currently serving as Programme Manager at the Finnish Refugee Council since October 2018, overseeing projects in Myanmar. Prior roles include Program Manager at Caritas Switzerland and USA, where responsibilities encompassed representation, program development, fundraising, and technical support. Thang Za Lian also held significant positions at Save the Children International, with a focus on leadership, program delivery, monitoring and evaluation, and team management across multiple programs, including emergency response and food security. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Regional and Rural Development Planning from the Asian Institute of Technology, complemented by several fellowships and prolonged studies in agriculture and rural development.
