Alejtin Berisha

Alejtin Berisha has held various roles in different organizations throughout their career. Alejtin is currently the Executive Chairman of Finnish Schools International, a school that combines the best practices of Finland's education system with state-of-the-art technology. Alejtin's work has gained recognition, with the flagship school in Kosovo being featured daily on CNN for a year. Alejtin has also been involved in franchising the concept worldwide.

Prior to their current role, Alejtin served as the Chief Executive Officer of UNI- Universum International College, which is powered by Arizona State University and is considered the best university in Kosovo. Alejtin also held the position of Director of External Relations at UNI.

Alejtin has experience as an investor in KidsDay App, a SaaS platform for digitizing and managing Daycare Centers.

Alejtin has also been an International Fellow and Visiting Scholar at New York University, as well as the Chairman, Founding Partner, and Investor of Crossplag™, an AI-powered edtech tool that was later acquired by Inspera.

Alejtin has also served as an advisor to ViLiKe, a smart solution for collecting and analyzing data on children's motor and learning skills.

Alejtin founded KOSBAN - Kosovo Business Angels Network and served as its founder for four years.

Furthermore, Alejtin is the Founding Curator of Prishtina Hub in the Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum.

Alejtin was an Executive Board Member of EAIR - The European Higher Education Society for a three-year term and has co-founded iziSurvey LLC, an innovative survey software platform.

Alejtin Berisha completed their education with a Doctorate degree in Higher Education Management from the University of Bath, which took place between 2011 and 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts degree in Contemporary European Studies (Political Economy) from the University of Sussex, from 2008 to 2009. Their undergraduate education was focused on Business Administration, where they obtained a BBA degree from See University, spanning from 2003 to 2007.
