Alex Backman

Alex Backman has extensive experience in the logistics and freight sales sector, currently serving as Key Account Manager in Sales at Finnlines since September 2019. Prior to this role, Alex worked at Viking Line Cargo from July 2012 to September 2019, where responsibilities included Freight sales in Scandinavia and development initiatives for the freight department. Alex held the position of Cargo Project Manager, focusing on business, process, and system development within the same department. Earlier experience includes a role as Transport Coordinator at DB Schenker, starting as a summer clerk, and various summer positions at Nordölink, Hansalink, FL Port Services, and Finnlink, covering tasks such as freight check-in, bookings, and loading assistance. Additional internship experience was gained at Kienbaum. Academic credentials include studies at Åbo Akademi University.
