Jaakko Laine

Jaakko Laine is an experienced professional in environmental consulting and project management, currently serving as Head of Department at Finnmap Infra Oy since July 2023. Previously, Jaakko held roles as Project Development Manager at ib vogt GmbH, Project Manager at WSP in Finland, and Senior Consultant at Anthesis Group. Jaakko's extensive background includes over a decade as an Environmental Consultant at Ramboll Finland Oy, focusing on contaminated site investigations and environmental permitting projects. Early career experiences include a position as a Research Assistant in hydrology at Posiva Oy and a trainee role at Golder Associates. Jaakko holds a Master of Science in Quaternary Geology from the University of Turku and has also studied Glaciology at UNIS in 2007.
