Udam Dewaraja

Udam Dewaraja is a co-founder and chairperson of the FOCUS specification at FinOps Foundation, starting in April 2023, and has led this Linux Foundation Technical Project since its inception. Previously, Udam served as the Director and Head of Global FinOps at Citi, where a pioneering FinOps platform was developed for annual technology spending of 12 billion USD. Udam's experience includes significant roles at Apptio, directing multiple engineering teams across various product lines and leading the development of shared platform services. Earlier in the career path, experience includes impactful positions at Amazon Web Services, focusing on Amazon Aurora and Amazon Redshift, as well as technical leadership at Hewlett Packard. Udam holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Computer Engineering from the University of Washington.
