Christian Breunig

Christian Breunig is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in infrastructure and embedded software. Currently serving as a Senior IT Specialist in Infrastructure and a Senior Development Engineer in Embedded Software at Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co. KG since September 2011, Christian has also co-founded VyOS, where involvement includes maintaining an open-source network operating system for both bare metal and virtualized environments since January 2017. Prior experience includes working as an Embedded Software Developer at Mixed Mode GmbH from September 2008 to August 2011. Christian holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Technology from the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS), earned between 2004 and 2008.
