Courtney Howard Hodapp is Head of Community Engagement for Corporate Responsibility at JPMorgan Chase. Grounded in the belief that there is a pressing need to break down structural barriers to opportunity, JPMorgan Chase is undertaking significant, long-term and coordinated efforts to drive an inclusive recovery. Courtney manages the team responsible for building and maintaining authentic and enduring relationships with key stakeholders across the United States to support the firm’s ability to understand, address and respond to community needs. Courtney has held several leadership roles at JPMorgan Chase, including Head of National Public Engagement and Program Officer for Global Philanthropy in Ohio and Minnesota. Prior to joining the firm in 2013, she served as Philanthropy & Community Affairs Manager for Battelle, the world’s largest nonprofit research and development organization. In addition, she is a member of a number of nonprofit boards focused on economic and social mobility, including Prosperity Now and FinRegLab. Courtney received a B.A. in History from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut and an M.S. in Journalism from Ohio University’s Scripps School of Communication.
