Jan Nepras

Jan Nepras has a strong background in the IT industry, with experience in various managerial roles. Jan currently serves as the CTO at Finshape since September 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Komerční banka as the Head of Enterprise Architecture from June 2014 to August 2019, where they led architecture strategies, managed a team of 10 people, and influenced technology selection in large projects.

From April 2013 to October 2013, Jan was the Executive Director of IT Project Management Office at CSOB, responsible for project management processes and methodology. Jan also served as the ICT Relationship Manager (Executive Director) from September 2011 to March 2013, where they managed the relationship with an outsourced IT organization and planned a project portfolio of 1.2 billion CZK (48 mil EUR).

Jan also had significant experience at Ceska pojistovna, where they held the position of Chief director IT Governance from January 2009 to August 2010. In this role, they were responsible for business requirements management, IT architecture, and service level management. Additionally, they served as the Chief director IT Development from November 2005 to December 2008.

Prior to that, Jan worked at Accenture as a Manager from August 1996 to October 2005. In this role, they managed various consulting and system integration projects within the banking industry and aligned IT activities with business needs.

Jan Nepras completed an MBA degree in Rochester Institute of Technology at U.S. Business School in Prague from 1995 to 1996. Prior to that, they obtained a Masters degree in Mathematical modeling from the University of West Bohemia, Pilsen between 1990 and 1995. Additionally, they earned a PRINCE2 Practitioner certification from AMPG in February 2014.
