Pavel Shaposhnikov

Pavel Shaposhnikov has an extensive work experience in IT infrastructure and operations. Pavel began their career at Cornerstone Russia as a Senior System Administrator and Deputy CIO from June 2005 to September 2007. Pavel then moved on to Outsource projects where they worked as an Infrastructure Architect and Senior System Administrator for 4 years, managing a team of engineers for customer support. In 2011, they joined Malakut Expert as the Head of System Administration Department until August 2012. From August 2012 to December 2014, Pavel worked at 2TBank as the Head of IT Infrastructure, managing 5 departments and leading various infrastructure projects. Since December 2014, Pavel has been working at Finstar Financial Group, initially as the Director of IT Operations (APAC), and later as the CIO (APAC). In this role, they are responsible for defining and managing IT infrastructure strategy, smooth operation of IT services, supporting digital transformations, and managing day-to-day operations. Pavel is also involved in project management, vendor management, procurement, and asset management.

Pavel Shaposhnikov started their education at Moscow technical college from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a diploma with honors as a Technic/Developer. After that, they attended Moscow State Industrial University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Specialist and Masters degree in Information Technologies in Economics. In terms of additional certifications, Pavel obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF) from PSI Services LLC in January 2018, and the ITIL v3 Foundation certification from The Knowledge Academy in 2016.
