Dominic Pym

Dominic Pym is a board member at Fintech Australia and the former Co-Founder and Director of Pin Payments. Dominic has also held positions at NZX, Ralec Interactive, and Medicalisation.

Pym co-founded Pin Payments in August 2011 and served as the company's Director until June 2020. Pin Payments is a web and mobile payment system that does not require a gateway or merchant account. It also supports foreign currency transactions.

Prior to their work with Pin Payments, Pym was the Chief Operations Officer for Australia at NZX. Dominic was responsible for NZX's acquisition of the Clear Group, which included the Clear Grain Exchange. The Clear Grain Exchange was Australia's first electronic grain trading exchange and clearing house.

Pym has also co-founded two other companies: Ralec Interactive (formerly CLEAR Interactive) and Medicalisation. Medicalisation is a company that provides medical equipment and services to patients in need.

Dominic Pym has a Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems from RMIT University, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from QUT (Queensland University of Technology), and a Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems from Leeds Beckett University. Dominic also has a SAP certification in Information Technology Consulting from SAP Australia - Southern Region, and a Korean Business degree from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
