Joanne

Joanne Dewar is a seasoned leader in the FinTech sector, currently serving as the Project Nemo Lead at Project Nemo, focusing on disability inclusion, and as a Board Advisor for the European Women Payments Network. Joanne also mentors the 2024 Future Fifty cohort at Tech Nation, aimed at scaling late-stage ventures. Additional roles include Non Executive Director at FinCrime Dynamics, Chair of Judges for the Fintech Awards South West, and Ambassador at The Payments Association, where Joanne leads the Project ESG initiative. Previous experience includes mentoring at Creative Destruction Lab and significant leadership positions at Thredd, including Vice Chair, CEO, and Deputy CEO. Joanne held the Branch Chair position at NCT Charity and worked as a Project Manager for BP. Joanne holds an MA Hons in Geography from the University of Oxford.
