Mariya Bistrina

Mariya Bistrina has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2010, they worked as a PR & Marketing Assistant at Kempinski Hotels for a short period of time. In 2011, they joined Barclays and held various roles including Group Tax, Forecasting, Reporting & Compliance until 2013, Group Tax, Markets Structuring Oversight from 2013 to 2016, Principal Structuring from 2016 to 2020, and finally Sustainable Impact Capital, Principal Investments from 2020 to 2022. Currently, they are working as a Business Risk & Operations Lead at Fintech for International Development starting from January 2022.

Mariya Bistrina completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Ramapo College of New Jersey, which they obtained between the years 2006 and 2010. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of York from 2010 to 2011. Finally, they attended ICAEW from 2011 to 2014 and achieved the ACA certification.
