Márcio Spínola

SVP, Product at FintechOS

Márcio Spínola is the SVP of Product at FintechOS. Prior to joining FintechOS, they served as the Chief Product Officer at Vision-Box from April 2020 to October 2021. In this role, they were responsible for defining the product portfolio and roadmap that provided high value to customers, as well as the offer, pricing, and go-to-market strategy that supported Vision-Box's growth objectives. Márcio also oversaw the value proposition and positioning for the company across its ID, border, aviation, and beyond segments.

From July 2009 to February 2020, Spínola served as Vice President of Product Management at OutSystems. In this role, they were responsible for the product strategy and roadmap, offer and pricing strategy, positioning (B2C, B2B, and B2E), segmentation and verticalization strategy, Investor due diligence and onboarding, competitive intelligence, analyst relationships, and support for OutSystems' top 25 global customers. Under their leadership, ARR grew by 60% YoY with a repositioning for value-based offering, and the average deal size increased by over 35% with a new pricing model. OutSystems was also a leader on the MXDP and LCAP Gartner Quadrants and Forrester Low Code Wave during Spínola's tenure. In 2018, KKR and Goldman Sachs invested €360M in the company.

Márcio Spínola has a computer science degree from the Instituto Superior Técnico and an executive programme in product management from INSEAD.
