Claudio Andrés Beiza

Claudio Andrés B. has over 11 years of experience in the technology industry. Claudio Andrés began their career in 2008 as an Intern at CSA Mine Glencore Xstrata. In 2009, they worked as a Mobile Dev Engineer at ISC S.A., where they learned to build successful client relationships and develop with PHP, MYSQL, and HTML. In 2010, they worked as a Software Engineer & Team Leader at the Santiago Stock Exchange, where they gathered and led a team of five engineers to create a new market. In 2013, they were the Head of Systems at Startup Infocel, where they created a web application, designed the software, database, and arranged the architecture of the systems in the cloud. In 2014, they worked as a Maintenance and Project Leader at SURA Chile, where they managed to reduce the development time of maintenance. Since 2017, Claudio has been working at Fintonic as a Sr. Machine Learning Engineer, Head of Data CL, and Data Specialist. As a Data Specialist, they are responsible for Chile data requirements, from simple queries in SQL over Cloudera Impala, to elaborated machine learning models on R and Python. Claudio Andrés also creates dashboards on Arcadia Data and presents the obtained insights.

Claudio Andrés B. obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Universidad de Chile in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained an Ingenieria civil informatica degree from Universidad Austral de Chile between 2002 and 2009. In February 2022, they obtained an AWS Machine Learning Specialty certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
