Yongyan Liu

Yongyan Liu is currently the CEO at Fintopia. Prior to this, they were an engineering manager at Facebook from March 2010 to September 2014. There, they led a team in building a payment platform for the company. Yongyan was also the architect of the core payment and credential management system, and the product owner for the developer payment API. Yongyan Liu was a founding member of Facebook Credits. Prior to their time at Facebook, they worked as a software engineer at Google from July 2007 to March 2010. There, they led an engineering team that launched Google Product Search in China, Korea, and Japan. Yongyan also designed and built a language model for Google Pinyin IME, and built a cache server which powered all binary downloads for Google in China. Yongyan Liu began their career as a software engineer intern at Microsoft from December 2006 to May 2007.
