Timo Hakala

Timo Hakala has extensive experience in the maritime and property management sectors, currently serving as a Maritime Project Specialist and Certified Auditor at Fintraffic since February 2004. Prior roles include Co-founder and Managing Director at Kiinteistokapteeni Ltd., overseeing property portfolio management from January 2012 to April 2022, and Vessel Traffic Operator at the Finnish Transport Agency from 2004 to 2018. Former maritime positions include 1st Officer at Rederiaktiebolaget Eckerö and Rederi Ab Engship, along with various roles at Viking Line and Silja Line. Timo's educational background includes a Master of Maritime Management from Satakunta University of Applied Sciences, a Master Mariner degree, and a Vocational Qualification in Business and Administration.
