Mario Hernández

Mario Hernández has a long and varied work experience. Mario is currently the CEO and CoFounder of finvero. In 2020, they were the CEO of OpenFinance SUMMIT 2020, which connects fintechs, banks, investors, and corporations to generate best business opportunities globally. In 2019, they were the VP of Technology and Innovation at COPARMEX, and the CEO of FintechThon, the most impactful and largest online international fintech hackathon ever. In 2018, they were the CEO of EOS The Fintech Co. From 2000 to 2019, they were the President and CEO of Planet Media, a global leader for digital solutions. During their time at Planet Media, they also held the roles of mPayments and President.

Mario Hernández's education history includes a Naval Engineering degree from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, which they obtained between 1993 and 1999. Prior to that, they attended Shawnee Mission West High School in the USA from 1992 to 1993. Mario also attended Colegio La Salle San Rafael. In 2007, they completed the SEP Dirección General at Esade. In 2008 and 2009, they attended Babson College for Corporate Entrepeneurship & Innovation. In 2010, they completed the HBS Executive Programme at Harvard University. Additionally, Mario Hernández has obtained certifications from LinkedIn (Aprende LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 2020), SGS (ISO 15504 SPICE, 2012 and ISO 9001:2000, 2010).
